My Salome E/S

more glittering effect on the left shadow colour and these colours should be more lighter

I had trouble putting on my Salome e/s duo the other day...
It was the only 2 Salome (i think) at KLCC the other day, Vina told me to take one as the colour was so special and I agreed and took it.
The base colour is peachy with glitters (the glitters are the one that made this e/s duo so special) and the other one is something brown n bronze.

And so the other day I was so excited to try on Salome e/s, hence, I applied the base colour with my Benefit fluff shadow brush. I've made a complete mess with the glitters. Instead of glittering my eye lids, the glitters fall all over my face and looked like a christmas tree!
LOL

Today I found a solution.
I applied the base colour using my Benefit shadow liner brush which has thinner and edgy end. It made my shadow stayed on the lid and not falling onto my face like snow...and to blend with the darker shadow colour, I used the fluffy brush.

Brushes are important..
It can be a good investment. My only brush set was from Benefit which I got it last year during the warehouse sale at a very affordable price. Imagine RM50 for a brush set (4 brushes) including the Betty Beauty Bag (brush bag). The only brush I got from Stila is the face concealer brush #11 which I think a total waste. I bought it because I was so gedik to try using brush to conceal my eye area. Instead I found it didn't help at all. I think I'm used to using my fingers.

I told myself that I have had enough of Stila with the last purchase of the Creme Bouquet perfume..but maybe 2 or 3 sticks of e/s brush wouldn't hurt right?

;)

By the way, does any of you girls know how to put on the Kitten Silk e/s Wash?
I have trouble with that too :P

Creme Bouquet so yummy!

i have this

just bought this

and maybe i want this??

I'm so happy that my effort of walking to Pavilion after work today really worthy as I got the only Creme Bouquet perfume there...
The first time I smell the sweet vanilla-ish milky creme bouquet hair powder, I've fallen in love with it. I saw it at KLCC re-stock the other day, but some one took it so fast..all 5/6 boxes of it!
Wow! must be damn rich ;D

Best thing is, I got my best friend whom sayang me so much to buy me the perfume cause I damn broke already, luv u luv u darling! like if you see me shopping for Stila at KLCC counter, that will be for my friends or my aunts or my mom..okay lah, maybe I take one or two items, but seriously need to re-financing myself..haha..if Stila wanted to re-finance, so do I!

Anna Sui warehouse some more..if the perfumes go for as low as RM20, I can take one or two...but in my dreams lah A.S perfume for that price :P

Hmmm...so what else is new?
Stila is still having sales! not new..I was at KLCC counter the other day, during re-stocking day when I overheard a phone conversation between this kakak and her friend maybe. She was excitedly telling her friend that Stila is on sale, like the first time we telling our friends about it ;)
The look on her face was so excited :)
Lucky her that she still got the lipglazes on sale and etc.

My sister is on her outstation trip to Penang.
Eating nasi kandar some more..nyum nyum..the last time she was there (a month ago) she complained about her putting on weight by staying in Penang for 4 days. Of course lah, what else you wanna do at Penang if not eating the delicious and scrumptious food stuff.

Oh, I almost forgot..I met other Stila lovers at KLCC yesterday..Jenny, Shirley and Moon..nice meeting you girls ;)

I also saw this Stila Sun Shimmer Dry Oil at KLCC n Pavilion. Only one set each counter. It's RM24, very cheap, but I don't think I might need it. But for collection okay i guess. Nice stuff.

Btw, I have just spray the Creme Bouquet on me and the smell is just to my liking..perfecto! Rasa macam nak makan diri sendiri .... ngeee :D

Night!

The Body Shop sale & Lancome Skin analysis

The Body Shop sale has started yesterday, 10% to 70% off. I went to check out the KLCC Body Shop after work, and it's packed like sardine!

There even items that limited 2 per customer, which means you can't take more than that so that everyone can have it.
Must be cheap too right?!

As I was checking out how many percent they taking off from my fav Amorito perfume (10% only!sad), I stumbled upon this great packaging of make up case and Body Shop miniature set for only RM58!oh, and if you are a member, you are entitled for an extra 10% for every discounted item.So if you're member, you can get this set for only RM48!
The make up bag is huge!
Seriously you can throw almost everything of your make up inside it, it has one small pockets and no other compartments, just a huge storage for your stuff. The bag is made of canvas I think, and it's in army green colour (only that colour).

It's a great for gifts, maybe for yourself perhaps..
I almost buy this, really really really tempting, but I'm cashless...I just spent an amount of money on Stila yesterday. But this lovely set is really a worthy, as the original price was at RM180. It is a limited edition though, so while stock last, you can have it. You just have to run fast to your neighbourhood Body Shop.

the set comprising of body lotion, lip balm, mascara and 2 sets of rejuvanating/energizing lotion and oil

I curi curi take this picture, hence the boxes on right side :P

After took off from office, I make a quick stop at this Lancome booth at KLCC. Apparently they are having promotion on their skin care sets and perfume.
I tried on the skin analysis service FOC, yup, as it said on the poster, "No Purchase Required". Although they will try to promote their stuff at the same time, but you can always say no if you don't want to buy.

You just have to do the ultrasound before you can go for a skin analysis with their beautician. The s/a clean up my make up first before putting on their products. Then she put on the moisturizer along with another lifting cream. And she do the ultrasound after wards for a merely 10-15 minutes. I waited a while before I can do the skin analysis.
Turns out to be I need to start using an eye wrikle cream as the wrinkles started to appear around my eyes.
I'm just 26 for God's sake.
:(
Overall my skin is okay, no dehydration underneath skin, good complexion and many more lah..can't remember.

this is the ultrasound machine they used

And FYI, Stila KLCC will re-stock on Monday/Tuesday (not confirm which day). Be there or be square! ngeeeee

Yup, you read it right.
Today is the Stila KLCC re-stock.

We thought it's gonna be tomorrow, or this weekend, turns out it's today.
Tammy text me telling me it's today, and I texted Vina, and it was only the four of us there before other girls passing by and waited for the stock to come down too..
Cai was about to leave for work, but decided to just wait like us :P

Lilian even so free that we even had an eyebrow trimming session by her..really nice I tell ya.
Yayy! Now my eye brow trimmed FOC at Stila counter itself!

We waited from 5pm to 8pm.
Maksu already bank in me money for a lipglaze.
I fell in love with lipglaze after I won the contest of Monsters vs Aliens at Miu's blog. I picked the Apricot lipglaze and really fell in love it.
Tasteful...Apricot flavour and the colour is really nice. I'm loving my extra gift *wink* Vanilla lipglaze too!

Therefore, today's objective was to get the Apricot lipglaze. Too bad there's none. So I just took the Vanilla Mint plumping lipglaze and the ever so famous Cherry Crush. Watermelon lipglaze for maksu and lipstick brush for mama. I have 2 other item that I'm considering to let go...let me sleep it over with and I'll decide tomorow ya.

Met a few new Stila fans at KLCC too.
One of them even had her boyfriend helping her picking up stuff and choosing suitable colours for her...I found it sweet and cool in a way.lovely lovey.

Oh I got like a few gifts by friends and family...
Can't wait to post the pictures.
I'll do it tomorow lah, right after I got off from hot shower after work (tipulah, mane got hot shower at my home) :P

sleep tight!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay, here's the update version from the above post.
We all loves gift right?
I do!
I have entered contest quite many times already, especially during my teenage years..I won a lot too...the best contest was the one whereI won second place in Nivea-Charlies Angel contest. I can't remember what I had to do for it, something about scrap book..I think I did that, something like a scrap book but maybe interesting one.
The prizes were sweet. An MNG voucher worth RM500, a Nivea product worth RM100 and some merchandize on Charlies Angel. I took my mom and sister to MNG Sunway Pyramid and we shared the voucher. The even best part was, the voucher can be used during sales!
Just imagine how many items we shopped that day!

After a while, I stopped at contest.
Life had been so hectic with school work. I entered a few contest but only won the consolation prize. And luck strucks me back when I won the contest at Miu's blog.
:D

top to bottom, left to right:
The adorable Stila paperbag
2 x tickets of Monsters vs Aliens
Mini Lipglaze in Apricot (love it so much!)
Mini Lipglaze in Vanilla (this one is not the contest prize)
Stila 2007 catalogue
Stila Pink Tin Can

Heaven ;)

Sister went to Singapore for a holiday trip with her friends.
Of course I was looking forward what she got me there...and she got me a Britney Spears Curious perfume, yayy!

Apparently, the perfume in Singapore is much cheaper than here in KL.
For instance, the perfume, Curious by Britney Spears, 30ml, for only $18, converted to RM40ish..
I guess we only got that price for perfumes during warehouse sale, itupun tak semua on that price, right?
Love the packaging, fun and playful

A different two design on box, with blue and pink (ma' fav!)

Now you see it close

Now you see it open like a spaceship :P

And here is my precious...Curious, by Britney Spears. p/s:Kumar, jangan jeles tau!

And this is a birthday present from my cousins. Its a Marks and Spencer Magnolia set comprising of Shower Cream, Foaming Bath Cream, Hand and Nails Lotion and a body wash net. along with the big tin can that you can always use your toiletries container.

I wanted to blog about the Body Shop Sale but just too tired.
I got back from work at 9pm today. Went for a window shopping, oh ya, the Lancome skin analysis was taken my time after. So that's why I reached home that late.

Well, I'll just tell ya all about it tomorrow ya.

Night angels...

a happy and fun day!

okay, i'm thrilled!

or

click down there on the picture

yup, that's me and my winning entry on Miu's Giveback Blog Anniversary Contest!

win 1st prize!
:D :D

winning prizes are :
2 x tickets to Monsters VS Aliens preview screening
1 x Stila pink tin can
1 x Stila lipglaze? (it's a suprise, but sounds like a lipglaze)

yayy!! thank you miu!

just a few hours before I learned that I won the contest, I was out with my girlfriend, Ely, doing what we called.......... Stila Hunting Day Out.

I went to Pavilion first to picked up the lipglaze in grapefruit for a friend. I reserved 3 items on the phone, which were the lipglaze, a lipstick which I thought was Karen, and Brown Bag which I confused with the Brown Pouch. When I arrived, I only took the lipglaze which was the only correct item I wanted, and the rest were wrong. The s/a reserved me not Karen lipstick but Carver instead and the Brown Bag is the one without Stila signature on it which was my bad for mixing it up with the Brown Pouch.

Of course, once you reached the Stila counter, there would be even tiny little thing that you wanted to take home with. Well, in my case, I was looking for a concealer for my eyes. The one that I got from M.A.C 2 years ago had finally finished, and same goes with my Benefit Lyin Eyes concealer.

Finally I picked Stila perfecting foundation in shade e to do the job of concealing my dark circles. S/a said the foundation is good to cover up dark circles. I have never owned a concealer brush and yes I was looking for it too, lucky for me, Stila Pavilion got it. Although I thought RM24 was a bit pricey for a brush, I took it anywhere, cause I know, price will be much higher with other brand like M.A.C, Benefit and Anna Sui.
And of course, they still have Petal Infusions Calming Eye Cream in stock. I took only one eye cream at Stila KLCC re-stocked day, and once I put it on, I've been loving it.

Ely too got herself a Stila when we went to One Utama to check on the liquid eye liner. I persuaded Ely to try the lipstick and found her the perfect colour, Sarah ;)
Too bad I couldn't find the liquid eye liner that my friend ordered from me. Does anyone want to let go theirs?

Ely and I were even thrilled when we accidently participated in the Biggest Participation In A Beauty Make-Up Event record attempt for The Malaysia Book of Records. Organised by Watson and sponsored from other brand like Clara International, Maybelline etc. It was after our late lunch that we saw the interesting event. All we had to do was to register at the registration counter, and they took our 'before' picture and showed us to the waving beautician to do the make over. We loved our looks so much after the make over! We even got ourself a mini goody bag comprising Watson and Maybeline voucher. Also a certificate of participation by Watson.

the Clara International team in charged with the make over

Maybelline product for make over

Ely on her make over session

Wah, then so proud walking at One Utama with our new look!

i think i showed too much teeth :D

Oh, almost forgot, just so you know for Stila's sake, I've been walking around at the mall with one of my sandal break off at the string! sadly, it's time for me to throw it away as I've been fixing it more than 3 times now and the string still break off :(
Maksu gave it to me when she went to Bangkok last year.

bye bye sandal

I have a couple of voucher from the Watson beauty make over that I would gladly give away as I'm not going to use it. I'll post it FOC to your address :)
1.Voir Group of Companies voucher (20% off on Voir Apparel & 50% off on Voir Homes , valid till 31 July 09)
2.Clara International Facial Treatment Voucher worth RM50, valid till 31st December)
let me know if you would like to have them.

go green

i always try my best to help and support recycles campaign.
these past few days were so hot even in the early morning, let alone during the night and i'm sure you know what course this right?

the rubbish everywhere causing the pollution causing the ozone layers being thin and so on and so forth. many people still haven't realize that it is not just about recycle can help us save our planet, also by cutting down the electricity we use. the Earth Hour held on March 28th was a brilliant awareness campaign. the whole world had switch off their lights for an hour and still, we survived.

it is not hard to play your part in helping the mother nature. just switch on necessary lights whenever at home. i do not switch on my bathroom light during the day when i take my bath because there is light coming from the small bathroom window.
and i always pull of the plug from it's socket whenever i switch off any electrical device like the laptop, phone charger, fan, television set and etc. this is because there is a few little percent of electricity still runs when we do not do that.

there is unbelievable growth of hyper and supermarket playing their role too in promoting the recycle campaign. Jaya Jusco, Tesco and to name a few have introduce the recycle shopping bag. but still, i saw a lot of customers using plastic bags for their purchases.
the recycle bag is affordable starting from RM3 - RM5. the bag they offer are solid and big enough to put groceries.

i have just become a member of Tesco Clubcard as we realized that Tesco is much cheaper than other major hypermarket stores. the registration is free and you got a 1 point for any RM2 items purchase. and if you bring your own shopping bag, they will reward you with points too, 2 points for Tesco recycle shopping bag, and 1 point for any shopping bag even from other competitors store like Jaya Jusco shopping bag ;D
Tesco also have this big plastic bag called Bag For Life (RM0.90) where you can reuse it over and over again, and they will give you a new Bag For Life for free if the old ones tear or spoil.yup, this one get the 2 points too.

yesterday, we used 1 Tesco The Big Green Bag cost at RM3.90 (it is so big and have bottle compartment as well) and 2 Jaya Jusco recycle bag. we had to use 1 plastic bag for our frozen items as we afraid it will melt in the bags.

recycle bag from Jaya Jusco

the bottle/can compartment is spacious enough that it can hold 2 cans at 1 compartment like this picture here, i put the sardine (big size) can under and i stacked it with the chili flakes bottle.

therefore, we are going to purchase the frozen recycle bag for us to put our frozen items next time. Tesco has it in dark blue colour with big size and Jaya Jusco has it in 3 colours including my fav pink, but it's a bit smaller than Tesco's. we'll decide later :P

i got a few of shopping bag at home..some of them are just for decoration i guess, as it covered with dust already and we shall clean it up right before hari raya when the time we do the spring clean together..ngeee...

and i love this Jaya Jusco convertible shopping bag where you can fold and put it in your usual handbag and pop it out as a shopping bag whenever you wanna use it.

as a shopping bag

fold the sides first

then fold the top and below and button up and ready to store

i sometime forget to bring my own shopping bag when i shop for groceries, therefore i learn some few stuff how to avoid it, by placing the shopping bag inside the car!

it feels so nice to realize that i actually do my bit even those little tiny things for the earth.
i might not consider myself as an environmentalist yet, but i'm going there soon.
maya karin makes it easy and why can't i...maybe next time i might bring my own container to buy nasi lemak like her :P

LETS RECYCLE FOR THE BETTER FUTURE

me
